Hey resently had a conversation with a young lady and she asked me why I decided to get married. I told her that I prayed to God for my wife and when I saw her without knowing a thing about her, her name, never heard her speak a word. I just heard a voice that said thats your wife. She thought I was full of it. What do you think?
Is it possible to know your life partner on site, with out knowing anything about them?

ReplyDeleteHello Nick, My name is Melaine. I do believe this is very possible. The young lady who you were speaking with gave you a "worldly" mind set answer. No disrespect, But her maturity level in God may not be fully developed. You have to have a personal relationship with Him to believe that he can make things such as this possible. See people at this stage in their walk/faith only believe in Tangible blessing (things that can be seen or explain such as: how, when, where, and why) but those of us who truly know and understand who God is believe in Intangible blessing. Meaning we know that God has promised us a help mate which in your case is your rib as the bible describes who is handpicked and tailor made just for you and by you having that personal relationship with God you heard him speak. This is believing things seen and unseen. See we as Christian’s or children of God we have to put ourselves in a place to here from God. So many time we pray for things over and over then hop up off our knees and expect change. But unknowingly we have neglect God responds. Instead of praying that quick prayer, try something different.... after you pray to God sit there in silence and let god minister to you and speak to you. Everyone is different, maybe sitting and listening to gospel music works for you.... FIND what works for you!!!! You can’t put limits on what God can do because what’s going to happen is your only going to receive as much as your faith can fathom. God is never going to take or excel you to the next levels of your life if your spirit man isn’t ready. So Just remember God can do exceeding and abundantly above more than you could ever ask or think. Every natural and spiritual need will be met just believe.

ReplyDeletemelaine5355 nailed it..Point blank!!!!I totally agree with you. The only thing I would add is one needs to be obedient. Not just hear the voice, but be obedient to the instructions & direction. He hears our prayers & will answer them.
ReplyDeleteI not only believe you heard a voice!!! I celebrate it with you!!!.. The person who felt you were "FULL of IT" probally can't relate to the way of thinking period to the way GOD works. Maybe we could celbrate a lot more beautiful soul mate finding stories if people stop trying to meet their mates in the club. Considering they can't hear God's voice over the DJ anyway!!!
